A few Saturdays back we decided to take a little trip to see a little place that we had heard about.  Photos I had seen pictured a cute little village of rustic houses near a flowing creek.  So off we went with a GPS and a few signs to guide us.

The track was rough with the first part going over slabs of rock.  Later the path was sandy and rocky.

Sadly there was no one home in the small community except for some chickens.

Just a stone throw from the houses is a small stream that has water all year round.  Large rocks make for a nice place to have a little picnic.

Not far down the road is a sign for a waterfall and some rupestre drawings.  We didn't take the time to check it out, but I think it's on the list for a return visit.

It's worth the ride!
